In 2003  I entered one of my paintings into the Royal Watercolour Society open exhibition and was pleased to have it accepted.  I felt that the RWS  was interested in pushing the boundaries of watercolour painting, rather than promoting picture making, so using acrylic in a watercolour mode suited me.  I exhibited at their Bankside Gallery over 8 years.
