Royal Watercolour Society (RWS)

In 2003  I entered one of my paintings into the Royal Watercolour Society open exhibition and was pleased to have it accepted.  I felt that the RWS  was interested in pushing the boundaries of watercolour painting, rather than promoting picture making, so using acrylic in a watercolour mode suited me.  Over a period of 8 years I had work accepted for their annual open competition at the Bankside Gallery.
